Story time is about 20 - 40 minutes long and is held on the rug in the children’s area.

Library Holiday Party

A bit of seasonal fun for the whole family, this year’s holiday party will have crafts, coloring, and a visit from Santa.

Giving Tree

In honor of the book, The Mitten Tree by Candace Christiansen and the giving spirit of the season, the Ontario Community Library will be hosting a Giving Tree from now until January 12, 2019.

During this time, we will accept donations of hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and socks. All donations will go to various organizations to be handed out as needed to local individuals of all ages.

December Holiday Closures

This Christmas Eve, Monday December 24, the Library will close at 3 pm and then be closed Christmas Day. The library will resume its regular schedule on Wednesday, December 26 at 10 am. The Library will also close at 3 pm on New Year’s eve, Monday December 31 and then be closed all Day January 1. The library will open again at 10 am on January 2nd.

The Library has book and video drop boxes available. They are monitored regularly for individuals who would like to make use of this service. The Library Board and staff wish you a very happy and safe Holiday Season.

Family Winter Reading Program

"There’s an Adventure on Every Page"

The Winter Reading program is a great way to keep the kids busy and learning during those cold wet months of January and February. We have activities and fun reading programs for everyone. Program begins January 9 at 4 pm during the Children's Craft Hour and runs until February 13 at 5pm.
