Tuesday at 4 pm Thursday at 11 am

Story time is about 20 - 40 minutes long and is held on the rug in the children’s area; all are welcome.

Makers WEEK!

10 am - 5 pm

December 16 - 20

Makers Day at the library is a great way to hang out with family and friends. Everyone is invited to make a craft of their own design from materials provided by the library. Materials are available from 10 am until closing at 5 pm (while supplies last). Makers Days are unstructured crafting time. Parents are asked to stay with younger children. Crafts include coloring and activity sheets.

Family Literacy Night

5:30 pm December 5, 2019

Join us at the library for an evening story time with assorted reading selections, family fun activities and crafts for children. Program is for families of preschool through elementary age children. Provided by Ontario Community Library in partnership with Ontario 8C School District.


DECEMBER Library Closures

For Christmas - The Library will close at 3 pm on Tuesday, December 24. The library will then be closed all of Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec 25. The library will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, December 26 at 10 am.


For New Years - The Library will close at 3 pm on Tuesday, December 31 and then be closed all day Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Regular Library hours will resume Thursday January 2 at 10 am.

The Library has book and video drop boxes available. They are monitored regularly for individuals who would like to make use of this service.

Library Computer Systems will be down for updates and upgrades.

Systems effected are Library Accounts and Catalog, Book Checkouts, and Ebook Systems (OverDrive, Libby and Library2Go).

Be prepared for lag times and other issues on the week of Jan 12 to 19.
